The story
La Veranda del Color is the gourmet restaurant of the Color Hotel in Bardolino. The kitchen is led by chef Fabio Cordella, who tells on the website that he arrived here as sous chef alongside Giuseppe D'Aquino and then Enzo Ninivaggi, the chef with whom the restaurant obtained its star; his cooking is tied to his origins, reworked in a modern key, with nods to the lake. The owner is Claudio Manetti. The September 2026 menu offers four paths: Il Mio Sigillo, eight courses with the chef's signature dishes (120 euros); Evoluzioni, six experimental courses (90 euros); Natura, six plant-based courses (75 euros); a cocktail pairing path (105 euros); or the à la carte choice, called Tailor Made. Cover charge 6 euros.

How to get there
Dinner only, Tuesday to Sunday from 7:00 pm to 9:30 pm; closed on Mondays. The main room is a veranda with a sliding glass ceiling; in summer dinner is also served by the pool and, on request, on the fourth-floor terrace La Vista overlooking the lake. The kitchen also cooks gluten-free and has vegan dishes. Before dinner, aperitivo at the Deja Blu Bar or at the Front Lounge by the pool. Book through the website or by phone.
